18TH INTERNATIONAL FINANCE AND BANKING FORUM
Finance in global, national and local integration
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 18th International Finance and Banking Forum, titled “Finance in Global, National and Local Integration”, organized by the Department of Finance – Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS). The Forum is co-organized by the University of Lomza and the Private Foundation Institut d’Estudis Financers (in Barcelona).
The event will take place on November 19 – 20, 2026, at WULS and at the University of Lomza, and will be held in a hybrid format – both in person and online via Teams.
The Forum will focus on the role of finance in global, national, and local integration, understood as a process of linking and interrelating economic entities, financial systems, and institutions in order to enhance efficiency and improve management. Particular attention will be paid to the integration of the banking system with social and economic needs; public finance from global, national, and local perspectives; the importance of public finance for labour market equilibrium; the impact of regulatory changes on the functioning of financial institutions; artificial intelligence in finance – its current state and future prospects; risk management in budgetary and economic entities; the insurance market in the face of economic challenges; financial markets – accessibility and diversification; the automation of personal finance – its current state and future prospects; and integration in agribusiness in the context of financial competitiveness challenges.
As part of the Forum, a study visit to the Regional Dairy Cooperative in Piatnica (OSM Piątnica) will be held on November 20, 2026, followed by the scientific part of the Forum at University of Lomza. One of the Forum’s key objectives is to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience between practitioners and researchers within the thematic scope of the event.
